BREAKFAST...
The most important meal?
The "most important meal of the day" depends on a lot of factors. But there are MANY reasons why eating a nourishing breakfast can make a major improvement in your day.Â
Here's a few reasons many people don't regularly eat breakfast:
- I'm not hungry in the morning
- I don't have time to make any food
- I'm rushing out the door and don't think about it
- I skip breakfast to save calories for later
- If I don't eat breakfast, I won't have to deal with any hunger until later in the day
Does any of this ring true to you? If so, you're not alone. But you're also missing out on the first step to radically changing your daily energy and cravings intensity.
When we eat breakfast in the morning, we provide our body and brain the energy it needs at the time of day that we're using the most energy. You know what else that changes?
- Brain function
- Ability to focus
- Stable blood sugars a.k.a. no afternoon crash
- Smaller portions at lunch and dinner
- WAY fewer cravings and no more evening bingeingÂ
- More reliable hunger and fullness cues (hormones)Â
